We are a day resource centre, situated in a purpose-built facility.
All referrals are made through the Continuing Support Team.
We are open 5 days a week from 10am - 3pm, and offer support to people
living with mental health problems. Monday and Wednesday are for those aged
40 - 60. Tuesday is Reaching Minds for those aged 18 - 40. Thursday
is for 60+ Young at Heart.Friday is a Drop-in-day.
We have a good-sized garden where we grow fruit and vegetables and can enjoy
a BBQ in the summer.
We have 2 computers running Microsoft Windows 98 where service users can learn IT and
have access to the Internet prior to attending local college courses.
Service users can learn basic workshop skills and a variety of arts and crafts
through the day. We also offer hot meals which are cooked by staff and service
users. Service users can also cook in the training kitchen (a meal) to be taken home.
