The flat at Downham Market is a fully furnished, single occupancy, self-contained flat.
The resident receives support from the Housing Manager, the Project Leader at Cousins Court, and from Downham Market Day Resource Centre.
An on-call system is available 24 hours a day which is linked back to staff at Alexandra House.
The purpose of this flat is to enable the resident to retain their independence and gain confidence living alone after they have been through an initial period of assessment with Alexandra House. All utility bills are paid by the resident.
This is a short term flat where residents stay for between 6 to 12 months on average.
