
We are a day resource centre offering a variety of opportunities to Mental Health Service Users and other individuals referred to us by the Community Mental Health, Elderly Mental Health and Physical Disability Teams.
Our building is fully accessible. We are open 5 days a week, Monday to Friday from 9:30 to 3:30pm
Referrals from the Community Mental Health Team attendon Mondays and Fridays, (ages between 18 and 65)
Tuesday is set aside for younger people, 40 and under, with referrals from both the Community Mental Health Team and the Physical Disability Team.
Thursdays is for people over the age of 65, referred by the Elderly Mental Health Team
Our catchment area extends to an approximate 15-mile radius of Heacham.
We have an extensive range of crafts available, a greenhouse, a woodwork room and 3 computers. We also offer hot meals, prepared daily by staff or service users who have gained a Food Hygiene Certificate, (one of the many courses available here), with assistance from other service users.
Other courses include IT, Assertiveness, Relaxation, Confidence building and First Aid. These can be provided at the resource centre by the College of West Anglia or Adult Education etc, or externally, with staff support, at the local Learning Centre, Healthy Living Centre or at the College.
