After an initial period of assessment, residents of Alexandra House may be given the option to move on to Richmond Place. This option will depend on the individual involved, and the availability of places.
Richmond Place consists of 6 self-contained flats which residents are encouraged to think of as their home, and where they can stay as long as they are physically able to live on their own. The flats comprise a bedroom, lounge, kitchen and bathroom. All are furnished including kitchen equipment and bedding.
In addition, a communal lounge and kitchen is available, giving the residents access to a television, payphone and tea/coffee making facilities.
Staff are on-site during the day for 5 to 6 days a week to support the residents. An on-call system is available when staff are not on-site.
