The furniture recycling project and shop which is attached differs from Cousins Court in that Cousins Court is an employment ready scheme whereas Saunders Yard offers gainful occupations for those who choose a less structured environment.
This highly successful project was our first recycling project and now extends to small local furniture removals.
Saunders Yard is also able to supply furniture at reduced charges for those in financial distress.
We have an extensive woodwork facility next to our furniture store where one can attend six-week courses on generic hand tool skills.
Referrals are via the Continuing Support Team or the Day Resource Centre but we also accept self-referrals.
